The Telemann Trio Berlin was founded in 1992, taking it's
name from Georg Philipp Telemann (1681-1767) who, it is
believed, was the first composer to write music specifically
for violin flute and clavier. The members are:
violin, Lauretius Dinca; flute, Cornelia Gehlmann;
piano, organ and harpsichord, Craig Hansen.

They have performed to critical acclaim throughout Europe,
America, Japan and South East Asia.
In Feb. 1998 they released their first CD (Sophia SR 35216)
and their second (Sophia SR 35218) on the same label in Nov. 2000.
The ensemble's repetoire includes works by Handel, Bach,
Couperin, Vivaldi, Bruch, Ibert and Martinu.
